The Little Star Family Market which was previously Barossa & Light Children’s Market for nearly 3 years is a community event for the whole family situated in Gawler. The markets are held quarterly (March, June, September and December) and have been at Angaston for 9 Months and previously held in Freeling for 2 years.
We feel there is a need for this type of event locally to showcase small businesses and services, and provide an opportunity for the public to connect in a community event.
The Little Star Family Market features a minimum of 50 stalls, a market for all things handmade, new and pre-loved for Babies, Children and Mummies. Loads of yummy treats, great gifts and entertainment for the whole family and local visitors! There are both indoor and outdoor stalls at March and December but mainly indoor for June and September in order to accommodate Adelaide weather cycles.
A variety of food and drinks are available from the various food vans to compliment the Sausage Sizzle and Coffee Van for those who would like to indulge. A bouncy castle (weather permitting), face painting and temporary tattoos along with colouring in activities are on offer to entertain.
